I'm not Catholic. How do I know when to sit, stand, and kneel?
You are always welcome at Mass. If you are not Catholic, simply follow the congregation--when they sit, stand, or kneel, you may do the same as you feel comfortable. If you prefer, you are also welcome to remain seated during any part of the Mass. There is no pressure; your presence is what matters most.
I'm not Catholic. Is it okay for me to participate in communion?
You are very welcome at Mass. In the Catholic Church, Holy Communion is reserved for those who are Catholic and properly prepared. If you are not Catholic, you are invited to remain in your seat during Communion, or you may come forward with your arms crossed over your chest to receive a blessing.
Am I expected to put money in the offering?
No, you are not expected to put money in the offering. The offertory is an opportunity for parishioners to support the mission of the Church, but visitors and guests should feel no obligation. Your presence and prayer with us are truly what matter most.
I have a hearing problem, is there any special assistance?
