StMM will be placing an order for poinsettias which will decorate the Church during the Christmas Season. After the Christmas Season, you will be able to take your flower home. You can purchase a flower in memory of someone, for yourself, or make a donation. Order forms are in the gathering space. National Night of Prayer for Life and Liberty

Uniting the Feast of the Immaculate Conception with the Feast of St. Juan Diego. Saturday, December 8 6-1 0 pm St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The evening consists of 4 1 – hour programs which include adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the Holy Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, silent meditation, prayers, and hymns. We will be united in prayer with churches across the nation and the world to protect life, the family,  the United States, end abortion, renew the Church, and establish peace.  Stay for an hour or the entire program. Policy Change – Renting the Parish Hall

The following changes are being made to our policy for renting the Parish Hall.

  • The Parish Hall may only be reserved by active parishioners or non-profit organizations.
  • For parishioners, the event must be tied to a Sacrament (Marriage reception, Baptism
    celebration, etc.).  The Parish Hall may not be reserved for parties for anniversaries,birthdays, graduations, baby or wedding showers, etc. (unless it was scheduled before July 2018)
  • It has become necessary to require a $100 “clean-up” fee for any parishioner or group
    using the Parish Hall.
  • Renters will be required to purchase a Special Events Coverage insurance policy through the
    Diocese of Wheeling Charleston.  Current cost is $100.
  • There will be no rental charge for use of the Parish Hall.
    Although no rental fee will be charged, if you wish to make a donation to help with the costs of
    maintaining our facilities, you are most welcomed to do so.

Parish Monthly Events:

Hospitality Weekend – Every first weekend of the month, the SALT team will host refreshments after the 5:30 pm Mass, in the parish hall. Please feel free to bring an appetizer or drinks to share.

Doughnut Sunday- Every first weekend of the month, the Family Life Committee will host donuts and coffee, in the parish hall, after the Sunday 8:30 am and 11 am Masses (except for June, July and August) .

50+ PrimeTimers Dinner – Every first Thursday of the month, this group meets at a local restaurant. Contact for more information.
